Years ago I had a house (shack) in the worst part of the area. I had heard that the children of the neighborhood
were prone to wander through other property than their own and even come into unlocked houses and consider what was inside
their own. Before I had bought the house, it had been used as a meetinghouse by a group of neighborhood kids.
I busied myself hand painting a large “No Trespassing” sign and nailed it to the porch entrance. A
young girl came by and asked me what I was doing. I told her I was putting up a sign. She asked me what the sign said and
I let out a long deep sigh as it hit me that if no one could read the sign, there was really no reason to be putting it up.
Years later it smacked me like a ton of bricks that all my life I had been trespassing in someone else’s
creation. All my life I had tried so hard to please everyone with out breaks of self-pity. I could never understand why nothing
ever seemed to work out for me. Even what I thought was my original ideas turned out to be used by those I thought I could
trust with them taking the credit.
I had always thought of myself as a “believer”. I believed that Jesus Christ died for my sins. But,
I also studied other beliefs and thought that was all that was needed was to believe that there is good and evil. Eventually
good will defeat evil and everything will be all right. But what if it didn’t? If it didn’t, then, was evil really
that bad? Why, we joke about it all the time. We set up evil heroes like Dracula. In a book just recently I read, he was really
the evil side of Jesus Christ. How twisted we have become! Evil is now believed to just be the other side of good. Ying and Yang. The whole containing dark and light one cannot exist without the other.
Is the Bible the truth? Even that has been scoffed off, as it is a book of morals told by stories. The stories
are the same as ancestral stories passed on from generation to generation. They may not be true, but told to prove a moral
point. That God is nothing but man’s immaturity needing a parent figure. Prayer works for everyone. Through prayer and
meditation, one can make anything happen, as it is good for health. If you want something, you can meditate or pray it into
existence. Everything was once an idea. Therefore, if you think it, it exists.
There has been historical and archeological proof more and more of
the stories of the Bible. Things left behind from the sites where the story happened. The Bible has been proven to not just
be a moral Book, but a Spiritual Book. It is the History of the Spiritual progress of man and of the Creator of the
universe. It is the story of the Creator and His intentions for man.
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image,
in our likeness, and let them rule over
the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over
the livestock, over all the earth, and over
all the creatures that move along the ground.”
So God created man in his own image, in
the image of God he created them; male and female
he created them. Genesis 1:26-27
Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of
them, were finished. And on the
seventh day God ended His work which He had done,
and He rested on the seventh day
from all His work which He had done. Genesis 2:1-2
The word “rule” here means to “care for”, or “have responsibility for”. In
other words, God’s original plan was for man to be morally and spiritually responsible for His planet Earth. Did you
see the words “His planet Earth”? I didn’t say “my planet Earth”. Or, even “our planet
Earth.”
That was the shock that hit me that night I was sitting on that back pew in that little
church gathering. God gave man the responsibility for everything He had created on this earth.
Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting
God, the Lord, the Creator
of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.
Isaiah 40:28
So, that meant that He was depending on man to use everything He gave us to do our job for Him responsibly. This
was why He wants to explain the proper use of our responsibility before he opened our eyes to the fact there was a right knowledge
to use with this responsibility and there was a wrong knowledge that would never be a lot more tempting and appealing to us
if we received the proper training before being introduced to it.
But we as the human race did not wait. We were not loyal to the One that was willing to allow us to live with it
all if we would only take care of it.
Genesis
And the woman said, We may take of the fruit of the trees in the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree in the middle
of the garden, God has said, If you take of it or put your hands on it, death will come to you.
4 And the snake said, Death will not certainly
come to you:
5 For God sees that on the day when you take
of its fruit, your eyes will be open, and you will be as gods, having knowledge of good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good
for food, and a delight to the eyes, and to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit, and gave it to her husband.
7 And their eyes were open and they were conscious
that they had no clothing and they made themselves coats of leaves stitched together.
God was so good that He had given us free will. He wanted us to do His will out of gratitude for all that He was
willing to provide for us. All he asked for are the same things that we desire from those we do good things for. Praise for
the fact that no one can do anything as He can. We praise each other for things that are so small compared to creation,
but we cannot find the time to praise Him for the awesome and amazing things that He continues to do on daily basis.
And He desires he same thing we do when we so something for someone else, thanks. In America we actually have a
national day of Thanksgiving. Even that has become a day of mockery because it was founded to Thank God for a bountiful harvest.
Today, since we have forgotten we were created, we continue to get off work, watch football, and eat turkey, in some cases
totally oblivious of why.
He did not just create and walk away. Instead, He has been loyal to His creation. Even after corruption entered
and destroyed His intentions for His partners in creation, God continued to take a group aside and instruct them to His laws
and rules continuing to hope that they will come to the understanding of whom He is and what our role is in His Creation.
Unfortunately, the corruption of sin grew on itself to the point where man was unable to even recognize God or
Him as Creator. Corruption showed man that man was able to create his own gods and replace the Creator with those things that
were created by man’s own hand. A lot of times the creatures created by man’s hand were representations of nature
or distorted representations of nature. Man was sorely misled to believe that the creatures of nature and nature itself had
marvelous powers within themselves. It was less and less attributed to the fact that nature and creatures of nature were indeed
created. They did not create themselves, no matter what Darwin says.
Today there is a swift movement to replace God with science. Children are being taught that science is the religion
of the modern man. Not God. When do we realize that without God’s Creation, there would be no science?
Science says that man reacts. He does not act. God realizes that man has a will and exercises it either for or
against Him. Science says that man can be programmed to act acceptable to society. God says He can heal your attitude and
behavior to be acceptable to Him and to each other. All along being free to do so. Reprogramming being as far as you are willing
for it to go. Not forced.
Lu 10:27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
Whoa! So how does this happen? Well, because of the corruption in the creation, man became horribly separated from
his own Creator. He is so deceived that man has decided almost that he owns creation. Somehow man has come to believe
that life is his. That he can buy possessions that are his. That his responsibilities are only surrounded by what is his.
And, today, some youth do not even believe that they have any responsibility, even for the life of another.
Is there any way we can be reconciled to the Creator and learn from Him our purpose today?
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with
God, and the Word was God. He
was in the beginning with God. All things were made
through Him, and without Him
nothing was made that was made. In Him was light,
and the life was the light of men.
And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness
did not comprehend it. John 1:1-3
More and more today there is a belief that what separates man from the “lower” animals is his ability
to speak words. Many other belief systems recognize words as something divine or holy.
Man had blocked the words of God from their hearts. Even those chosen by lineage to discern the Word of God had
become stale. They did not listen to God’s Word, instead, they just passed down what the last leader said or interpreted.
Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of
Scripture came by the prophet’s own
interpretation. For prophecy never had its origin
in the will of man, but men spoke from
God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
2 Peter 1:20-21
Prophets became unpopular and were considered to be odd. They had to be sanctioned by the synagogue to be recognized
and the synagogue was now influenced by politics. Man seemed to not be able to have faith in something larger than him. Instead,
he continued to humble himself before those in authority for protection and grates. Still not realizing that the only power
that any man has is the power that another gives him.
This was when God allowed a way for man to hear Him. Above all the clatter of one man trying to out do another,
God quietly entered the world through His Son, Jesus Christ.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten
Son, that whoever believes in
Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John
3:16
Now, wait a minute, am I saying that God loved this world that just turned its back on Him and ignores Him
and does all matter of evil against Him? Yes. How much does God love us? Enough that He devised a plan to actually open the
door back to Him and promise that anyone who understands and finds the way can come back to Him, share in the future of His
New Creation and live eternally.
Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first
heaven and the first earth had
passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John,
saw the holy city, New
Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared
as a bride adorned for her
husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying,
‘Behold, the tabernacle of God is
with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall
be His people, God Himself will
be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away
every tear from their eyes;
there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying.
There shall be no more pain, for the
former things have passed away.’ Revelation
21:1-4
So, How can I get on board? …that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that
God
has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For
with the heart one believes unto
righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made
unto salvation. Romans 10:9-11
How can you confess something you do not know? By faith. And now can you have that faith? By reading the Word of
God. And, where is this Word of God? It is the Bible.
Can I really believe that the Bible is the Word of God? Yes. God has from the beginning used those who would listen
to Him to speak through them through their mouths as well as writing down the Word. All translations throughout time have
all come back to the primary message of God. Disputes are very minor and do not go beyond a word or two.
Matthew, Mark, Luke and John in the New Testament are witnesses to the life of Jesus Christ. There are free downloadable
Bibles on line. There are many translations available on line as well.
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the
life. No one comes to the Father
except through Me. John 14:6
Jesus had a three-year ministry on earth before He was crucified. Many do not know the significance to why, when
so many were being crucified during this time period, that one crucifixion should stand out. There was a difference.
Remember when I told you I realized I was trespassing on God’s earth? Corruption, or sin, going against the
laws of the Creator, had blinded me to the fact that I was so loved as a creature that the very Creator that created me had
come and lowered Himself to a human such as I. He had never been corrupted or sinned. Yet, He humbled Himself to, instead
of destroying me, destroying His Creation, paying for my sin and corruption by death on the cross.
But, we still die…? Yes. Physically. Remember, I told you this is a spiritual reunion. That
is why it is so hard for some to accept. We all know in the back of our minds that there is a spiritual realm. Most of us
“see” the evil part of it. It influences everything in our lives. We have been lead to just scoff it off, like
it is a part of our imagination. Then, today religion is being classified as also imagination.
Strangely enough, if we ever reach the point of understanding what it means to surrender to the Will of God, there
is such a dramatic change that one cannot express it enough. Suddenly there is a feeling of belonging. Many mental confusions
vanish. The feeling of being lost and like a ship without a rudder vanishes. In the stead a feeling of belonging and family
with those who have reached the same conclusion. A balance that comes with knowing that you have finally come home.
Finally, there is the feeling of purpose. Today the purpose is to relate to others that feeling you have just inherited.
In every religion there is always a leader between the followers and the entity of worship. In the Old Testament,
God appointed priests to serve as a liaison between the nation and God. God was too Pure and too Holy to be seen by all the
people because of their corruption. Today His Own Son serves as the only High Priest.
Hebrews 4:15
For we have not a high priest who is not able to be touched by the feelings of our feeble flesh; but we have one
who has been tested in all points as we ourselves are tested, but without sin.
16 Then let us come near to the seat of grace without fear, so that mercy may be given to us, and we may get grace
for our help in time of need.
Because He gave the ultimate sacrifice for all of our corruption, through Him we are again made whole.
Matthew 10:29-31
Are not sparrows two a farthing? and not one of them comes to an end without your Father:
30 But the hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 Then have no fear; you are of more value than a flock of sparrows.
32 To everyone, then, who gives witness to me before men, I will give witness before my Father in heaven.
33 But if anyone says before men that he has no knowledge of me, I will say that I have no knowledge of him before
my Father in heaven.
Jesus is our intercessor with God, now. There are no others. Through Him we are adopted back into the Kingdom
of God.
Mt 6:33 But seek ye
first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
First study the above and get to know Jesus. You will be totally surprised at how way away from what was first
intended we are now. But, God gave us free will. We no longer have to be slaves of our passions deceived into thinking that
“if it feels good, do it”. We were never made to drown in our own passions. Never feeling satisfied. Instead we
were created with great responsibility. It will take a while for us to get back to what we were intended for. But we have
a very loving, and merciful Creator that we can now call Father because His Son rose from death. He conquered the death of
corruption and sin and even though we must die physically because of that corruption, we will rise again into a new existence
that will last forever through Jesus Christ!
But just knowing that Jesus died for my sins is going to get me to Heaven?
…"Repent, and let every one of you be baptized
in the name of Jesus Christ for the
remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift
of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38
If you truly believe that Jesus died for your sins, you will feel a since of guilt about those sins. You will want
to confess them to the Lord and repent from them. Now, for the first time in your life, you have a true friend that will help
you turn away from your sins. Jesus said that He would send the Holy Spirit to you as a gift. This Holy Spirit will help you
turn away from your sins and will guide you to the peace that surpasses understanding with the Lord. It will also help guide
you through your purpose for the rest of your life.
In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth,
the gospel of your salvation; in
whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the
Holy Spirit of promise, who is the
guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption
of the purchased possession, to the
praise of His glory. Ephesians 1:13-14
Prayer is not something you use so that Santa Claus
will give you that special gift that you have been wanting. Nor is it something where you concentrate something into existence.
Prayer is a form of communication. Talking to and receiving from another. If you want to see a miracle happen in your own
life, no matter how you feel about God right now, start praying The Lord’s Prayer morning right after you wake and night
right before you go to sleep.
Mt 6:9 ¶ After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Mt 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in
earth, as it is in heaven.
Mt 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.
Mt 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive
our debtors
Mt 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Do this for a week. Give it a try. Do it without expecting
anything. At the end of the week, look back and see if there are any changes in your outlook on life, life around you, your
circumstances, and your attitude. You may be surprised.
I have given you all sorts of helpful links in this
site. If you wish, you may get in touch with me by email or landline, or mail. There are so many out there that are so much
more experienced than I at guiding you. But, get a mentor as quickly as possible. Be forewarned; do not get mixed up with
doctrine differences. If possible, chose a non-denominational, strictly scriptural group or church. Do not listen to all the
“codes” and prophesies of doom.Do not allow such, "off the wall" tales like Jesus was married or had children
divert you from scriptural truth. Once you understand the importance of your own salvation, anything that lessons Jesus or
His Purpose on earth will be recognized as the lie it is. After you have matured with the guidance of the Holy Spirit,
then, you may compare the lies with truth. For now, the truth is enough. God bless you.
